As usual, another thoughtful piece. I especially appreciate your point about overextending your capabilities (otherwise known as *really* over promising). Given how rapidly technolgies change, I can understand how tempting this kind of thing is in order to keep winning business. But it's a myopic strategy to be sure--you're better off focusing on the things you know you do best and partnering with others to extend their capabilities to your clients.
