I stumbled across this piece by Marian Bantjes tonight. I can't believe the timing worked out so well; it's the perfect post to follow our own type alphabets. (Although, as inspiration, it may have been better a week ago...) I only wish she had given more details about how she crafted the alphabet.
Anyways, I just think her work is really cool, inspirational, and unusual. It's great to see how she uses her amazing talents as an artist and designer to make a living. It turns out there is demand for the kind of meticulous, off-beat, incredibly versatile artwork she's known for!

I just stumbled upon this type foundry that sells handmade fonts. Check it out!
